From January 27-29, SFT is hosting a "Weekend for Tibet in the Bay" with three days of inspiring talks, events, and trainings. We hope you will join us so we can learn from each other and boost our skills to help support Tibetans inside Tibet.

In light of China's escalating repression in Tibet, SFT has started a weekly Lhakar Vigil in New York.
When: Lhakar (Wednesday), 6:00-8:00pm
Where: Chinese Consulate, 12 Ave. & W 42nd
Why: to celebrate Lhakar, the Tibetan self-reliance movement
Weekly Lhakar vigils are now being held in Boston, Minnesota, and New York.

Protests have broken out across eastern Tibet and Chinese security forces have responded with violence, opening fire on crowds of nonviolent protestors. Read SFT's Press Release
